Although LSEZ SIA “RT metāls” is not currently subject to the mandatory sustainability reporting requirements under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the company recognises its responsibility for its impact on the environment, employees, and society. Sustainable and responsible business practices are an integral part of the company’s operations. LSEZ SIA “RT metāls” is committed to improving resource efficiency, reducing its environmental impact, ensuring a safe working environment, and continuously enhancing responsible manufacturing practices. Demonstrating its commitment to transparency and responsible business conduct, LSEZ SIA “RT metāls” voluntarily prepares an annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, highlighting its achievements, key sustainability performance indicators, and priorities for future development.
Green Electricity certificate
Since 2025, SIA LSEZ "RT metāls" has been purchasing electricity that is 100% produced from renewable energy sources. As part of the agreement, electricity is supplied from wind energy sources, which is confirmed by a green energy origin certificate issued by SIA "Ignitis Latvija".
Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) report
This report presents SIA LSEZ "RT metāls"’ sustainability performance for the period 01.07.2025–30.06.2026, summarizing key environmental, social and governance developments, achievements and progress towards our established sustainability objectives.
Throughout the reporting period, we continued to strengthen our sustainability practices by monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating environmental impacts and implementing improvements across our operations and value chain.
Building on the objectives established in previous reporting periods, we continued to improve resource and energy efficiency, responsible business practices, internal processes, corporate governance and risk management, while maintaining alignment with relevant industry standards and long-term sustainability goals.
